Its asymmetrical silhouette makes it stand out as a centrepiece in any refined interior.

The cabinet has been professionally restored in our workshop using traditional methods. The body is veneered in natural walnut with a dramatic, bookmatched grain pattern across all visible surfaces. The finish was achieved through a meticulous hand-applied shellac polish (French polishing) in multiple layers, resulting in a deep, mirror-like gloss.

One of the most distinctive features of this piece is the original tubular steel leg, which has been professionally re-chromed to restore its original lustre. All original brass hardware, locks and hinges were preserved and cleaned.

The restoration included full structural and aesthetic conservation: veneer repairs, precision sanding, traditional shellac polishing, and chrome replating – with total respect for the original design and craftsmanship.

This piece is a true collector’s item – perfect for high-end interiors, design galleries or curated residential spaces.
