This czechoslovak tubular wall light dates from the 1940s and represents a late expression of european art deco lighting design. Constructed with a bakelite housing and a cylindrical milk glass diffuser, the fixture emphasizes compact proportions, durability, and functional clarity. The light remains in good original condition with visible signs of age and minor structural damage consistent with long-term use. It has been professionally rewired and adapted for us standards using a bulb socket adapter. Its understated industrial character makes it well suited for corridors, bedside use, or curated vintage and modernist interiors.
