Very unique antique Chinese silver pendant necklace with a boy riding a Qilin, a mythical creature symbolizing good fortune. Necklace is likely a 19th C piece, possibly dating back further. The small four chains dangling, sometimes representing five favorable fruits.
The pendant is very large and the chain long, possibly given to an expectant mother, these necklaces were either given to children or expectant mothers.
Lots of intricate etched detail on this hollow pendant, showing the master craft of the maker.
