Elegant antique American Brilliant Period (ABP) cut glass carafe, dating to the late 19th to early 20th century (circa 1880–1915). This example is crafted from heavy leaded crystal and features finely executed hand-cut patterns characteristic of the period.
The body is richly decorated with hobstar motifs, diamond point cutting, and crosshatched panels, producing strong brilliance and light refraction. The neck features vertical zipper-style cuts leading to a flared rim, giving the piece a refined and balanced silhouette.
This type of carafe was commonly used for water or wine service and today serves equally well as a decorative statement piece in traditional, Victorian, or collected glass interiors.
Unmarked, as is common with many Brilliant Period pieces.
