Will Dickey has been photographing Jacksonville and northeast Florida since 1983, first as a staff photographer for The Florida Times-Union and later for national publications like Newsweek, Time, and National Geographic. He has won regional and national awards, but his true passion is capturing the natural beauty of the Timucuan Preserve, the St. Johns River, and other waterways. Growing up in Alabama, fishing and exploring creeks inspired his love of nature, which he continues to celebrate through his photography.
