This beautiful antique French Art Deco rosewood and glass lighted vitrine display cabinet was made in France circa 1930. The cabinet has a clean rectilinear design with a unique form and elegant proportion and is impeccably handcrafted from rosewood in a high gloss finish with nickel-plated steel trim. The large locking glass door opens on two adjustable and removable glass shelves. The original overhead light has a plug-in cord on back. This versatile cabinet and functional showpiece can be used as a display cabinet, bar cabinet, china cabinet, etc. Export sticker on backside says 'Made in France'.
CONDITION
Excellent vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Original working key included. One glass shelf has been replaced and is slightly less thick. Original glass shelf has a small chip at the back but not apparent when in place. Cabinet light appears original and does work although rewiring is recommended.
