Late Qing.A horizontal sequence of individual people scholars, attendants, possibly inmortals each separated by flowers or auspicious plants.This type of procession scene was characteristic of temple festival hangings, guild banners or opera stage hanging during the late Qing Period.The Blue dragon chasing the pearl is a classic symbol of power, abundance, and cosmic balance, it appears frequently on ceremonial textiles from that period,The embroidery style - satin stich with multi shaded silk threads matches Southern Chinese workshops especially Suzhou or Canton.
