A striking antique - late 19th - early 20th Century angel over door wall appliqué featuring a serene cherub head flanked by expansive, finely carved wings. Executed in carved wood with original gilding, this sculptural piece was originally intended for placement above a doorway as architectural or ecclesiastical ornamentation.
