Each panel depicts small birds perched among bamboo and flowering branches, rendered with delicate mineral pigments and fine ink work on a warm silk ground.

Both works are signed and sealed by the artist, and reflect the elegant, naturalistic style favored in early 20th-century Japanese painting. The compositions balance detailed brushwork with generous negative space, creating a serene and timeless presence.
