The table features a beautiful … Read more A perfectly restored 19th-century rectangular walnut dining table with drawers, finished with shellac and wax. The table features a beautiful top composed of four 3cm-thick solid walnut planks; the crosspieces and turned legs are also walnut. Two large drawers lined with Varese paper are located along the longest side. This table is extremely sturdy given the quality of the material used and dates back to the second half of the 19th century, originating in Lombardy. It represents the most classic and domestic type of dining or kitchen table, except that rather than being made of soft wood such as poplar or fir, a more noble and expensive wood was used.

The height from the floor to the crosspiece where the legs pass is 61 cm.
