In 14 karat yellow gold.

With braided hair under a beveled bezel-set glass bezel.

The center-set bezel section surrounded by embossed floral work. The band with stepped shoulders and a taper to the shank.

In the Georgian and Victorian eras, woven hair art was used to memorialize a departed loved one or given as a keepsake memorial for a loved one in their absence.

Simply a wonderful early ring!

Overall Condition:
It is in overall fair, as-pictured, used estate condition.

Condition Details:
There is clouding and content haze under the bezel. There is fritting and chipping to the corners of the facets of the crystal bezel. Otherwise, there are some fine and light dings & indentations, some light edge wear, some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.

Fineness:
Unmarked for gold fineness. Professionally tests at 14k or higher.
