Artisanal Details Crafted from solid premium maple, this cabinet features Chaddock’s legendary hand-distressed finish. Every "wormhole," character mark, and hand-rubbed patina detail was applied by master craftsmen to mimic the soul of a centuries-old heirloom. The silhouette is defined by classic arched door panels, traditional pegged joinery, and a beautifully scalloped apron that sits atop elegant cabriole legs.
While its roots are in the dining room as a traditional buffet or server, its generous proportions and thoughtful design make it an ideal media console or entryway statement piece. The interior offers deep storage for linens, electronics, or oversized serving ware, complete with integrated cord management for a clean, sophisticated look.

It has been exceptionally well-maintained in a smoke-free home. As part of the signature Guy Chaddock Melrose aesthetic, the cabinet features "factory-distressed" elements—including intentional rasping, small wormholes, and a hand-rubbed patina—designed to give the piece the soulful look of an 18th-century French antique. The solid maple frame is structurally sound with no wobbles or loose joinery. There are minor signs of light residential use consistent with age, but no significant gouges outside of the original intended distressing. All original antiqued brass pulls are present and securely attached and both drawers slide smoothly, and the cabinet doors open and close easily. Modifications: A professionally-made cord management opening in the back panel makes it ready for use as a media console or charging station. less
