In late 2024 and early 2025, Tehos initiated a new series of abstract works based on a vocabulary of small, repetitive marks, entirely executed by hand.
This work is part of this recent series.

Tehos – Biography

Tehos is a contemporary artist whose practice spans collage, painting, photography, video, and installation. His work explores the relationship between image, meaning, and perception across both physical and digital spaces.

He has exhibited internationally, including in France, Monaco, the United Kingdom, and Hong Kong, and gained early recognition for his collage work. His artworks have been used on the cover of Le Monde diplomatique, illustrating several articles of the newspaper, with a worldwide circulation of over two million copies. His work has also been featured on the official poster of the Art Monaco Art Fair (2014), the cover of Le Jazzophone (French jazz magazine), and as a book cover for a Sapir Prize–winning author in the Middle East.

In 2011, Tehos was awarded the Jury Prize of the AIAP–UNESCO in Monaco for a video installation.

In March 2020, he was featured as Emerging Artist of the Week in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, presenting a video exhibition broadcast on over 1,000 screens, including large-scale urban displays across both cities.

In 2023, an artwork from his Icon series was selected for the cover of Magazine d’Art et de Culture, in Monaco.

In 2024, he directed an AI-generated film, presented at the Nice Conservatory of Music. See less
