Both pieces are crafted in the neoclassical Louis XVI style, featuring carved giltwood frames and thick, striated marble tops. The gilt finish has a rich, aged patina, highlighting the intricate carvings.
The design includes classical motifs and elegant profiles. The legs on both tables are tapered and fluted with carved details, joined by stretchers. The larger table has a rectangular marble top with an open center section, while the smaller side table has a square top, also inset with marble.
The combination of the luxurious marble and the antique gold finish creates an opulent yet sophisticated look. The marble on the smaller table with reddish-brown and beige tones, possibly a "Flandres Rouge" marble.
