Each rug measures approximately 32 × 22 inches (82 × 55 cm). As these rugs are entirely handwoven, slight variations in size (±1–2 cm / ±0.5 inch) are natural and expected.

Woven from hand-spun wool and dyed exclusively with natural root (vegetable) dyes, these rugs display the deep burgundy reds, dark indigo grounds, and earthy accent tones characteristic of classic Harput weaving. The bold central medallion, stepped geometric forms, and traditional border motifs visible in the photos are hallmarks of Eastern Anatolian design.

As shown in the images, the rugs feature original flatwoven kilim ends, small decorative tassels, and visible abrash throughout the field, reflecting natural dye variation and age. Minor wear, softened pile, and slight irregularities are present, all consistent with honest vintage use and adding to the rugs’ authenticity and character.
