(image) Handsigned by the artist in pencil Certificate of authenticity In The Three Graces, Sonia Delaunay transposes the ancient myth into a purely abstract language. The figures are no longer bodies, but colorful rhythms, circles that intertwine, respond to each other, and extend. Grace becomes movement: that of light, color, and the gaze. This lithograph reflects Delaunay's conviction that color can express the world through the vibration of tones alone. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
