erich demmin, born in 1911 in ivenack/mecklenburg and deceased in 1997 in berlin, was a landscape and marine painter. From 1931 to 1938, he studied at the university of fine arts berlin and undertook study trips to italy, spain, and holland. He is known for his views of the baltic sea region and the netherlands.
