Henri Giraud, born in 1805 in Termonde and died in 1895, was a French sculptor of Belgian origin. A student of Capoy and Rousseau, he specialized in figurative bronze and cast iron works, often produced by the Tusey and Capitain-Gény foundries. A member of the Salon des Artistes Français, he exhibited there regularly between 1870 and 1894. His works, blending realism and decorative elements, depict female figures, genre scenes, and animals, and are now sought after for the finesse of their casting and the quality of their patina.
