This vintage mid century Swedish modern orange floor lamp designed by Anders Pehrson for Ateljé Lyktan was made in Sweden circa 1970. The floor lamp features a slim metal stem and a circular metal shade finished in a vivid orange typical of Scandinavian design from the period. The shade both rotates around the stem and pivots up and down on a swivel mechanism allowing for directional lighting. The built-in shade has two candelabra lightbulb sockets and a three-way switch allowing for brightness variability. The lamp has a long plug-in cord and is labeled on shade interior Ateljé Lyktan Åhus, Made in Sweden.

Ateljé Lyktan is a Swedish lighting manufacturer founded in 1934 in Åhus, Sweden. From its earliest years, the company became known for combining craftsmanship, functionality, and clean modernist forms - elements now synonymous with Scandinavian design.
