Founded by King Henry VI in 1440, Eton College has educated generations of British statesmen, writers and members of the Royal Family. Its Old Etonians include Prince William and Prince Harry, with Prince George continuing the tradition today. Even James Bond was imagined by Fleming as an Old Etonian. Drawing on twenty years at Eton, seven of them as a house master, McConnell offers an glimpse inside the rituals of life inside the school including classrooms and tutors, chapel and supper, sport, school dress, and the customs of daily Eton life.

James McConnell, a house master at Eton, provides a 1960s guide to life at the prestigious college. He discusses the traditions and the real day-to-day life of Etonians.
