Nova brass lamp designed by Jo Hammerborg in 1963.
When lit, the lamp provides a soft, glare-free downward glow, making it ideal for low hanging, while the glossy surface captures and reflects the contours of the surrounding space.
One of several themes that recurred in Jo Hammerborg's work at Fog & Mørup in the 1960s was that lamps were often made from three different metals – copper, brass, and aluminum.

The lamp is in good condition for its age. It has a good amount of natural patina.
The lamp has been thoroughly cleaned, and the cable has been replaced with a new, braided one. A new metal canopy is included. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
