This is a rare, double-sided original oil painting by acclaimed Philadelphia artist and National
Academician Albert B. Serwazi. Each side features a unique, fully realized still life and is signed and
dated by the artist.
- Side 1 (1987): A vivid still life with bottles, banjo, fruit, and patterned cloth.
- Side 2 (1984): A quiet still life with pears, blue jar, chair, and fruit basket.
Both works reflect Serwazi’s mature 1980s style: expressive brushwork, bold palette, and domestic
intimacy. Each side is signed 'Serwazi NA', confirming his National Academician title.
The painting is housed in a custom hardwood frame and has remained in a single family’s collection
since the 1980s. It was a personal gift from the artist to the seller’s father, a cardiologist at Lankenau
