The frame is made of polished brass and features a finely ribbed surface, giving the mirror a vibrant, textured look.

The four small X-shaped star appliqués at the corners are particularly charming and typical of the decorative design language of the 1950s. The mirror's oval shape is slightly asymmetrical (concealed at the top and bottom), giving it an organic, harmonious appearance.

The mirror is likely of German or Austrian manufacture (possibly Vereinigte Werkstätten München or a similar manufacturer) and bears the production number 2204.132 on the back.
