This elegant and ornate peacock fire screen concertinas out from a central storage held in place by a pair of brass bars.

The fire screen has nine finely pierced panels / leaves. On opening out, four panels on each side slide within each other to produce the peacock style.

with a solid brass handle at the top, the elaborate central stand is identical on both the front and back, making it a stunning piece from every angle.

Becoming harder to find, this one has been carefully cleaned and polished to highlight its beautiful decoration.

In very good condition, ready to place in front of your hearth.
