This truly unique runner is a living artifact, bearing the fascinating history of a textile repurposed from its original nomadic function. Its design—featuring large, intricate geometric borders framing a much larger, solid open field—strongly suggests this flatweave was originally a nomadic textile bag that was later opened and repurposed for use as a runner.

The design features bold horizontal bands of complex tribal geometry—including sawtooth and latch-hook motifs—in striking colors of deep red and charcoal, which anchor the top and bottom. This strong patterning beautifully contrasts with the expansive, calming center of soft natural beige.
