Fitted with a deep navy tôle (painted metal) shade adorned with a gilded laurel wreath applique and surmounted by a decorative arrow-form finial and ring handle. The lamp retains its classic bouillotte configuration with three candle-style sockets designed to disperse light evenly beneath the shade. The brass surface displays a warm, even patina consistent with age and use. An elegant and highly functional example of French neoclassical lighting, suitable for library, desk, or console placement.
