This set of twelve (12) authentic antique 19th century chromolithographs (each color laid in with a separate lithographic stone) by the listed 19th century English artist Anne Pratt (England 1806-1893), depict different varieties of wildflowers. They were printed in Oxford, England in the mid 19th century. Printed on one side only. Well drawn and great color. Great for a large wall treatment or several smaller groupings. Dimensions: Apprx. 4.25" x 5.5".
Anne Pratt (1806-1893) was one of the most prolific and popular artists and writers of this time, ultimately producing twenty published works that were loved for their handsome and accurate illustrations, and helping to create interest in flower study in the general public.
