Richly crafted with dramatic burl walnut veneers and floral marquetry inlays, the piece has been structurally revised and lightly refinished. The headboard and footboard showcase striking bookmatched burl maple panels in a warm amber tone, framed by contrasting rosewood banding and finished with brass beaded trim. Both panels are embellished with intricate floral marquetry, composed of fruitwoods including maple, cherry, pear, and walnut, set against a rosewood ground.
