Japanese bronze of Ebisu, the god of luck, fishermen, and propriety, circa 1912-26. Antique, likely Taisho era. He holds a red sea bream (which symbolizes good fortune and abundance). Lost wax casting with much of the structure remaining inside the bronze. Condition commensurate with age and use.
