This is a custom made coffee table that is a highly unique love letter to New York City. The slab … Read more This is a custom made coffee table that is a highly unique love letter to New York City. The slab of Black Locust wood fell during Hurricane Sandy and was cut in the last wood mill in NYC. The custom glass was cut by a fourth generation New York glazier. The shape of the nail patterning is a not-to-scale echo of the path of the Hudson River the length of New York. The nails were found in my abandoned and burned out brownstone in Harlem before I moved in. A world class woodworker set this all up so the glass top seems like it floats.

Ranges from 13” to 20” wide. 68” long. 21” high.

Local pickup is easiest. I can’t even imagine how to ship this. See less
