He is wearing a purple jacket adorned with gilt buttons and an embroidered shirt with the collar and cuffs peeking out from under the jacket.
This 18th-century portrait is in very good condition: some old restorations, relined.
It has a 19th-century giltwood frame and a recent stretcher.
