This lamp, crafted in France in the 1960s, is made of glazed terracotta in warm brown tones. Its sculptural structure is composed of interconnected vertical rods, creating openings and empty spaces between them—almost like an architectural lattice. This openwork design gives the lamp a strong decorative presence, halfway between functional lighting and sculptural artwork. The glaze shows a beautiful aged patina, adding depth and authenticity to the piece. The earthenware surface has subtle variations that highlight the handmade character of the lamp, typical of French artisanal ceramic production of the 1960s. This lamp fits beautifully in interiors ranging from mid-century modern to French provincial, brutalist or bohemian spaces. It can serve as a statement lamp on a console, side table, or desk.
