The hexagonal ceiling plate and the glass detailing are characteristic of german lighting from around 1930. The porcelain ceiling plate supports a glass globe with a layered relief that produces a soft, diffused light. It has an e27 socket suitable for standard bulbs. Likely produced in a german porcelain factory around 1930 and marked with number 311.
