This stunning, full-sized “Rez” Kilim is a bold contemporary homage to the fundamentals of traditional Turkish and Persian panel-weaving.

The design employs a two-tone monochromatic palette of black and white, with subtle accents of beige-brown in the weft the keen eye will further admire. The natural juxtaposition of the primary tones enjoys a gorgeous, natural positive-negative sense, and revels in this construction's more textural approach to minimalist design.

The piece utilizes a sophisticated play of tightly packed, fine horizontal black lines against a substantial beige ground. These subtle horizontal ribs are contained within large vertical panels (or columns), underscored by thin, luminous accents in the weft and stitching between the panels.
