The soft pad chair ea 207 is part of the iconic aluminium group designed by charles and ray eames—one of the most influential furniture collections of the 20th century. Introduced in 1969, the soft pad series refines the clean architectural lines of the aluminium group by adding individually upholstered cushions, creating a chair that is both sculptural and exceptionally comfortable.
unlike its sibling model ea 208, the ea 207 features a fixed four-star base without swivel function, making it ideal for use as a dining chair, conference chair, or elegant side chair in both residential and professional interiors.
this particular example is upholstered in dark brown leather that has developed a beautiful vintage patina over time. The three soft, padded cushions add comfort and character, while the polished aluminium frame and armrests highlight the timeless modernism of the eames design language.
