These organic, monolithic forms emphasize the natural grain, knots and unique character of the wood — no two pieces are identical. Their warm polished surface reveals beautiful growth patterns and variations in tone, bringing nature directly into the interior. Made by a Swedish Cabinetmaker in the 1960s The seats are newly upholstered in a soft light bouclé fabric, adding comfort and a tactile contrast to the raw wooden bodies. Rustic yet contemporary, the chairs hold a bold, almost sculptural presence, functioning equally well as seating or artistic statement pieces. Ideal for a modern chalet, Japandi interior, gallery space or naturalistic dining setting. This is furniture as sculpture — warm, tactile and unforgettable. "Wabi-sabi is the view or thought of finding beauty in every aspect of imperfection in nature. It is about the aesthetic of things in existence, that are “imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete”.
