This celebrated model features a sculptural opaline milk glass shade capped with a brass-plated ring and suspended from an ornate brass-plated chain. The luzette is one of the most iconic lighting designs of early modern industrial aesthetics, exemplifying behrens’ visionary approach that influenced generations of designers, including the bauhaus. The pendant has been fully restored, retaining minor age-appropriate patina. Newly rewired with an e26/e27 socket, it is ready for use in the us.
