The genuine table is made by McGuire and is not an inferior reproduction piece. It features an iron base painted golden gate orange for autnenticity and covered with bamboo poles lashed together with leather rawhide laces on the exposed joints. Hand-crafted in the California coastal organic modern taste by McGuire artisans. The table has optional round patinated brass supports to hold the huge pane of thick beveled glass on top. The six leg supports end with round disk feet that are adjustable on the bottom. The sofa or console table is very heavy and solid having excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The bamboo has a desirable aged patina on the finish in a rich, dark tone. From a grand estate in the Napa Valley, CA. Table was specially ordered 2 feet longer that the standard size.
