This faucet is in very good overall cosmetic condition for its age, with no damage or excessive wear to be found. It was recently removed from a 1964 sink that has not been used in decades, thus it has not been recently tested with water. The handle movement feels correct on both, and judging by the exterior parts, we are thinking that the most that would need to be done to make it function properly is replacement of the gaskets - or they may be fine. Spout condition: There is relatively light wear to some of the high points, otherwise it looks very nice. There was no damage found, and the aerator and gasket are very good. The brass plumbing pieces, nuts, and washers are in excellent shape with no corrosion or any real wear present. The lift rod and final are very good on the whole. The rod has just a hint of a bend, and the shell finial is excellent with no blemishes. Faucets: Both are in the same good condition as the spout, with nothing found to point out beyond some light pitting on the escutcheons. Please see the pictures for further details.
*** This piece is described in greater detail than is normally found, as the camera likes to hide blemishes with items such as this. There are pictures included with and without the use of flash in an attempt to show the details. The description is accurate to the best of our knowledge, and areas are pointed out that may look nearly flawless in the pictures.
