It is painted on board, with a rustic wood frame measuring 32 in high by 27.5 in wide. Kline painted this and most of his better known works in Springs, NY, an East Hampton enclave that included Jackson Pollack and Willem de Kooning as contemporaries. This painting has only sold once previously, from the artist's estate. See less
