This is a Filikli Tulu throw with natural dyes woven by an nomadic Kurdish tribe from Adiyaman Province (Turkey).
A filikli weave consists of 20 to 25 centimeter long bundles of kid fiber tufting attached to the warps and wefts with Gordes knots. The base in this rug is wool.
