This vintage early 20th century Moorish jewelry/trinket box is wonderfully designed. The hinged box exhibits an intricate marquetry design containing multiple six point stars that dominate the overall pattern. Delicate & minute particles of multicolored wood & mother of pearl are hand inlaid to create the dramatic look appearing on every panel of the box. The interior features a removable silk lined tray, concealing a sectioned area beneath. It is in excellent condition.
