This exceptionally rendered pair of statues were designed & executed in the 1890's. These Austrian busts are characterizations of two earthy individuals with lifelike sculpted features & garbed in period costumes with fine detailing. Artists of this caliber usually worked for well known porcelain manufacturers. These are, however, unmarked except for an impressed number, 1074. I think, Royal Rudolstadt is a possibility for the origin.
The woman measures 10.25" tall X 7.5" wide X 4.25" deep.
The man, 11.25" X 8.5" X 5".
