This vintage Victorian era patinated bronze sculpture dates from the late 19th century & is signed by the artist, Lavergne. It is titled “Pecheur” & is of a charming young boy trying to unravel his fishing line. This wonderful work of art has sharp details consistent with an early casting. It is signed on the top of the base & one side of the base bears the title plaque. The bronze is in excellent condition.
