It features two sliding gilt-bronze arms decorated with scrolling foliage and acanthus leaves that evoke classic plant forms and elegantly support the candle holders. These arms rise from a simple, slender central metal stem, surmounted by a finely chiseled gilt-bronze ring. This ring forms a delicate floral wreath, adding a floral touch to the overall design.
The fixed lampshade is made of lacquered sheet metal in a blue-green hue. It is enhanced by two gilt bands that elegantly accentuate its contours. This refined shade subtly conceals the two bulbs, diffusing a soft, subdued light.
The lamp's base is particularly striking. It is adorned with two magnificent, majestic bronze swans with outstretched wings, which gracefully and powerfully frame the base. The oblong pedestal is decorated on each side with a laurel wreath, the quintessential imperial symbol, which reinforces the solemn and historical character of the piece.
