Mushroom Table Lamp, Gilded Brass, Claude-Paz Et Silva, Art Deco, 1930s – France
An iconic Art Deco table or desk lamp by Claude-Paz Et Silva, the "Mushroom" model was manufactured in the 1930s, finished in gilded brass and copper. The model's name refers to its structure, which consists of a round, chromed base from which three rods (between which the switch is located) extend, supporting the dome-shaped or mushroom-shaped shade. Beneath the shade is a pressed, frosted glass diffuser bearing the brand's signature.
