dressed in its original warm gilt—softly worn, gently glowing, and aged to perfection—it has all the confidence of a much larger french mirror, just without the drama of finding wall space. The original foxed plate delivers that irresistible antique romance, while the wooden backboard remains wonderfully untouched. The glass itself is in excellent condition, with lovely silver sparkles, showing only the graceful ageing that gives 19th-century pieces their poetic charm.
