This large spherical modernist pendant light was designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson for Ellyset and was handcrafted in Sweden during the early 1960s.
The sculptural lamp is an impressive luminous design object which features a lamellar lampshade from pine wood and thin moulded pine wood veneer. It provides warm light and creates striking lighting accents. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
