It is finely carved out of healthy rich walnut in French Provincial Louis XV style. Linen press made of two parts, a solid double door sideboard on the bottom, and a step-back double door top, each with shelves inside, offering ample storage space. Doors are hung on large quality hinges, and they each feature large (iron finish) bronze escutcheon mounts, and vintage functioning locks and a key. Previous owner purchased this gem at world famous New York and Paris retailer "Pierre Deux" for over $15K! Good condition throughout, showing amazingly light age / use wear considering the age (please see photos). Beautiful piece of furniture very well made, size is large and impressive 88" tall, 56.5" wide and 25.5" deep from the wall.
