The tapered high back design and angled lines offer comfort and a dramatic visual. Upholstered in their original fabric that naturally shows wear, they make a striking statement.
Pearsall designed this model chair in the early 1960s and they were sold through his company Craft Associates. He designed the armless model we’re offering here as well as the arm-chair model of the same design. They are as popular and as coveted today as they were when they first hit the market decades ago.
Today these chairs are seen in home decor periodical’s and interior design books and websites in very glamorous settings, some having been re-upholstered using new fabrics, especially creamy boucle.
